    I installed a Commercial Electric 5053-WH recessed multimedia box behind the TV in the master bedroom. I cut the hole in the drywall, and ran a fish rod up from the basement. I used the fish rod to pull my flexible fiberglass fish tape downward. I then used the fish tape to pull 14-2 wire for power into the Commercial Electric 5053-WH, along with a Cat5e cable for ethernet. I wired the power to an unused junction box in the basement (previously used by an office that I tore out). I ran the ethernet to the patch panel and connected it. Everything appears to be working fine, and it's nice to have no cables dangling from the TV. I put a pair of HDMI pass-through keystones in the recessed box too, for later use with a receiver or Apple TV.
